how to make a tardis dress cosplay

hi guy today we are going to be making a tardis dress cosplay from doctor who. i will be using a couple of sewing patterns and some YouTube videos to make the bodice and the skirt to make the dress. you will need to get symphony dark royal blue i got about 10 7/8 yds you might need more depending on your measurements and 6 7/8 yrds of black cotton you might need more blue and black thread some white fabric for the windows i used a fat quarter black double fold bias tape about 2 to 3 packs you can look back of the sewing pattern to see what to get for more help to get the fabric you need you will have to get your measurement of your body and the size of the pattern. i am using bunnyko video lolita skirt you will need 2.5 yards witch is 2 1/2 yard so start hear for how munch you need next i used yumi king How to Sew Sweet Lolita Dress for Beginners- Without Zipper and Elastic Band the only thing we need from hear is the bodice and the strap to get the size so take you bust measurement and add 1 inch seam allowance i used the my bust is 40 so 41 but i used the hole length of the fabric with witch is 44 all the way around and 10 is the size of the bodice top to bottom so you will have to add 10 inch to how munch you will need and see the back of the patterns envelope in your size and look to see how munch you need than add that my blue fabric i got out 10 7/8 yard i have some left over from when i cut it the black fabric is 6 7/8 yard i had a little left over your might be different depending on your size the patter i used is Simplicity Pattern 1095 Misses' Costumes this is a tardis dress if want you can do this one the thing i used is the tardis windows and the hood top the next pattern is Simplicity Pattern 8317 Misses' Cosplay Kimono Costumes this is the kimono i am only using the over skirt in this pattern. so the layout is make the lolita skirt first you will have to cut 2 16 inches top to bottom the other is left to right is the bolt of the fabrics next is 5 inch of 6 strips of fabric to make the ruffle next we are going to use the sweat lolita next do cut the bodice out your 10 inches by what size of your bust you might make your tube bigger if you have a bigger bust next cut out the straps she has 18 by 2 1/2 she has you cut out 2 but i cut 4 because we are going to sew it together this is op if the bodice is bigger you will have to cut a strip that is the same size of your bodice my elastic is 1/4 in size so the 2.5 is good next your are going to cut the hood pattern piece look at the lay out in the pattern to see how it fist i place the front bodice on the left side and the hood under it you will have to put the bodice back on the right side of the fold and cut 1 and place the tardis window in white fabric and cut next is the kimono over skirt look at the pattern layout on there and it will show you how to place it UN fold the fabric fold over to make a really long square lace on the fold the waist band than the over skirt on the blue fabric than on the black fabric replete the steps with the bodice for the hood and the over skirt and cut out 6 of the ruffle than you can begin to sew so lets start with the lolita skirt you will sew the 16" skirt at one end do not sew the other end like in the video iron the one end now get the ruffles and sew them together at the end do not sew them to make one loop it needs to be one long strip iron the seam open at the bottom of the ruffle iron a 1/4 and sew the long strip if you are using a ruffle foot put it on and just sew and if you are doing this by the regular way you will sent the sewing machine to the long stitch and put 2 rows in and pull the gather to make the ruffle pin this at the bottom of the skirt sew it put right side together and sew the skirt and the ruffle set this off to the side and now we are going to make the bodice take the 4 straps put 2 of them to gather with right sides sew at the top go all the way down you will have to tun your fabric sew along the bottom tun again and go to the top and leave a opening pull right sides out repeat for other strap sew the bodice with right side to gather OK get out the elastic band fabric and put right side together sew fold in half iron sew a it on the bodice leave a opening so you can put your elastic, cut some elastic the size of the uper bust under your arm pit put one end on a safety pin and the other end on a safety pin and pin it on the fabric put it in the tube sew the end of the elastic together and close the hole of the tube now place the straps on to see where it fits sew them next get out the tardis window and flow the directions for the pattern than place the bodice on you to see there the window will fit pin and sew next is the skirt place 2 rows of long stitching at the top of the skirt pull to fit the bodice put the right side of the bodice to the right side of the skirt sew them together the skirt part is down next make the hood vest the way that the pattern says and make the over skirt the same with the pattern institutions

my vacation to the Adirondacks NY June 2018

hi on June 22, 2018 i went to the Adirondacks and went camping at lewey lake campground in till the 28 June we stayed in camp site 207 they have shower house has flush toilet and no flush toilet the side we where on did not have the water site but across the way there was the stream and the beach sites are across the street if you feel that you need to buy food for camp there is a market and gas and a laundry mat there is one in Indian and a really good information they will tell you all about the best hikes to go on and there are kid friendly hikes to go on there are a lot of hiking you can do in the area we did ok slip falls it 6 mile all the around so that 3 up and 3 back than there is watch hill where you can see Indian lake and snowy mountain fire tower we went to the wild center and saw the wild walk and went to the oxbow and went inside the wild center and saw the all thing inside and saw a movie on the the rusty patch bumble bee and they can't find it any more we saw a lot nature on are trip and it was blast i hope you come to see it all have a nice day
